People Tech Group has successfully built a data warehouse for our client’s Online Commercial Platforms line of business. We were involved in understanding the requirements, architecture the DW, & then design and develop the DW. People Tech Group has used Kimball methodology to build DW Schema. Some of the other tasks included:

Our Solution

Considering the complexity of some of the reports and interdependency of the data, the different data sources are logically clustered and normalized datamarts are built to leverage Kimball’s Methodology. The EDW is split to load the datamarts Daily, Weekly or Monthly basis, based on the availability of the source data feeds.

Main technical skills utilized for project – SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services & Analysis Services, T-SQL, Flat file integration, stored procedures.

• Build various application specific batch programs to perform various tasks like calculating partner fees or incentives or revenue recognition reports or simple dashboards for management team reporting purpose etc. Below is sample list of such reports.
